Anyways these are my influences as i see it in cronological order more or less. Lots of cool shit.
1. Roger Cruz's run on Age of Apocalypse. What originally got me into comic-art. I'm a sucker for bright-ass colours on the glossy paper. 2. Humberto Ramos: If any of you've seen my older work, you would've guessed already.. ~SuperUndiesMan 3. Skottie Young. Used to LOVE cartoony styles like this. Plus Martegodpopo's colours on it sealed the deal for me. (told you i was a sucker for bright-ass colours on glossy paper) 4. Lesean Thomas. Obviously a big influence on me right when i started this account. I even remember him dropping a comment on here commenting on my style 'influence' lol. Never expected to be caught out ripping on a style by the man himself hahaha. Guy was cool about it though so all goods. 5. Samurai Champloo. Not only kickass art but also RIDICULOUS soundtrack. R.I.P. NUJABES! 6. Tekkonkinkreet. Picked up a copy at Real Groovy on a whim... so glad i did cause Studio 4ºC man... enough said. Must've watched that cityscape intro a million times.... 7. Willie Real. Really nice use of line. REAL nice. 8. JJ. The linework king. Smooth as a baby's butt. 9. *joy-ang Wish she'd upload more work for me to oggle at. 10. Dave Ellis. Mad flow with his lines. 11. McBess. Because he's AWESOME.
12. And last but not least: MUSIC! But that goes without saying.... despite me saying it now.... always helps to set my mentality while drawing. Track that gets me in a productive recently is a track of Banksy's film 'Exit through the Gift Shop' - Kronkite (instrumental) by The Creators. [link]<--linky.
People waiting on commissions: They be comin soon. Apologies for this procrastination but i thought it necessary to share my art-nerdom. Thanks for tuning in.

EDIT: Shit! Just realised i should've included Mr.~antz81 in there somewhere. Oh well, psd's closed now. I'll be sure to namedrop ya next time bud!
I think Roger is, now, far more versatile than Madureira. At that time, though, he was trying to fill the gap that Madureira has left. Try searching for a comic called "Xampu" from Roger Cruz, he has some pieces in his gallery. It's fucking cool and you might like it since it is totally different from what he did on the old days and more like the things you do now. I think you will like it.
Yeah, i particularly like him more in these classy, authoral projects than in mainstream comics. Lots of Egon Schiele feelings there and this is definitely awesome.
Anyways, great influence map and you have AMAZING work. (+watch)
I've met a comic book artist down here in Atlanta that's good friends with LeSean.
