Oh, on a side note for those who were looking for it I've recently changed the URL to my blog.  It's now [link] for any confusion.

Right now they've got this rad as contest going over at SatelliteSoda where the winning piece will be painted up by none other than Kris Anka, aka *anklesnsocks If you don't know this guy by now then prepare to be enlightened. Guy is so damn talented he makes my eyeballs bleed from exposure to sheer awesome.  

Your piece will then be printed movie poster size and sent to you with a bunch more SS goodstuff.  

All you have to do is create a line-art illustration of one or more characters from the SS universe, which is pretty fucking easy considering how rad the designs are.  

The contest has a quick turnaround: deadline is next Friday July 1st, so get onto it!!!!  Don't be a fool.

Right, that time of the year has come again where I need to earn some dosh to survive another semester.  So for the next week I thought I'd open up three types of commissions:

• $20 Pencil sketch (You can probably guess what they look like)

• $30 Toned sketch

• $60 Coloured sketch


If you're interested, send me a note with the subject being the type of sketch commission you want.  Please include at least one reference image.

It's recently been announced that Dylan McCrae, a.k.a. !jimmyjoejoe- is saying fairwell to the SatelliteSoda Crew, of which he and Dave Igo founded 6 years ago, in order pursue his solo career.  To those of you not in the know SatelliteSoda is a tight-knit little art forum bursting to the seems with amazing artists, I've been posting there on and off for the last 4 years or so now.
